First black-and-white 'snaps', with hours in the darkroom in the '70s. Then slides and Cibachrome in the '80s. Nothing but kid photos in the '90s. First digital camera turned my visual arts part of my brain back on in 2002. Family doctor since '82.

Nicole has been taking pictures since she was 17. At a point, she worked in a studio for over a year, & learned alot that she still puts to use today. With a renewed zest for photography, she has begun to take more pictures again with the intent of finding a way to share them with others. She will have a web presance soon. Starting with a Minolta x370n back in 1994, graduating to a Canon digital in 2005, the experience has been a learning one, always. Nicole is always eager to meet others who share her interests & who can share their knowledge with her.

David is a recent addition, who while in high school was the head photographer for the yearbook and took over 80% of the photos published with his Canon AE-1. Today, after a 16 year vacation from photography, he has began to relearn photography with a new Canon camera and looks forward to getting together with others to photograph nature and landscape scenes.

I've always been fascinated with how to produce art. Since I'm a lousy artist, taking photos is easier to stay within the lines. I've loved taking photos since I was young - when all I had was a Kodak 110 Instamatic. As a young adult I worked in a photo lab. My digital camera is my new best friend since its with me 'almost' constantly.
Our next meeting will be held 7:00 PM, Monday, May 12, 2008 at the East Wenatchee Shari's Conference Room, 501 Valley Mall Parkway.
